They were not “banned” to hide the truth. The early Church used strict criteria apostolic origin, consistency with the faith, and widespread use in worship. •The Book of Wisdom and Baruch are NOT banned, they are actually in the Catholic Bible as part of the Deuterocanon. •The Church did not remove these books to control knowledge; it preserved what was authentically inspired and apostolic.
