Cuzin!! My husband and I have been having this same conversation. We've started allowing ourselves to grieve lost friendships, and even the decisions of our children that we know will make life harder for them. It's so hard to parent adult children but we're leaning how to do it differently.

I turn 60 in a few weeks and the things I would have done, taught and the way I loved my kids would’ve been so much different if I could go back. No do overs, but man. I’ve grown so much after going to therapy for 3 years has changed me.

You are my inspiration cuzzin. I went and joined the gym yesterday and I'm working out my schedule as I also check on my 81 y/o dad multiple times daily. With 2 athletic teens and a husband (that does help) I have to have a schedule. I'll be 50 next yr and I'm trying to be fine as wine, like you. Anywho, let's get it😁😁
