Added a suica digitial card straight from apple wallet. Just “add funds” and tap and go. Tells you balance you have left so you can refill when low. Havent had any issues so far

Happened to me, but not because of funds. A very nice salaryman saw I was having issues, grabbed me, pulled me over to an attendant, explained what was wrong and got me set.

It happened to me and I didn't have 500 yen to reload my card. Nice old lady gave me 500 yen. I paid attention to my balance the rest of the trip. 😳😅
