its just because of the elbow ditch. think about how much the skin there stretches and moves daily. I got mine done and it healed rougher. keep the area well lotioned you'll be alright

It looks irritated but not really infected. You would know if it's infected, it gets nasty. I had one get infected and it was INFLAMED not just red and itchy, it was crusty and red and yellow and bulged up and hurt like a mother f-er. Just clean with dial or whatever your artist suggests and hopefully it will chill out.
