Tie a rope to the post then tie the lead rope to the tire. Makes for a big rubber band. They don’t like the recoil. And for the digging tie a soft rope around the pastern that way when they strike they get slapped in the belly

Who ties a horse to an unsecured trailer and who ties up to a trailer to begin with that they have this issue use a patient’s pool why would you want to damage your own trailer?

id pick a tree with a similar height spot to tie instead of the trailer 🫠 wr used to use the stock trailer backed next to a building or raise the bucket in the tractor a little
