Your right it is weird & we should definitely stop & ? Why. IMO, Its to get more eyes on the show, to continue to culturally groom us. Moral relativism, disassociation….big important themes for them to normalise for society. Bc its called “programme” for a reason. Read edward bernays.

Diego Luna being snubbed is vile, and I will advocate for AMC, which has two emmy worthy series, Dark Winds and Interview with the Vampire, and the network continues to be disrespected by the academy, but this time it can't even get nominations lol

They didnt even choose memorable male actors from White lotus, acting was fine but character vise not interesting. Patrick showed arc and emotions nedded for character growth. And again zero noms for Interview with a vampire

The supporting categories made me do a double take. For the weakest season of White Lotus, that’s way too many noms. Aside from the criminal Andor snubs, I’d even say Industry deserved more love than White Lotus this year

Yes! Andor was so good this season! S1 was difficult for me to get through, but this season really captured me and it was the actresses who did it!

I hate that people feel like award shows like these validate shows and use them as a check for them. Andor is without a doubt the best show of this year and the creator of the show is right to highlight lasting moments and views are more important. An aside but I do not get the love with Severance. It feels like one of those shows bound to disappoint because it answes its questions with far more questions that will never be fulfilled for everyone.
