My dad wasn't the same when mother passed, but a few years after this game finally came out, instead of me being angry, thankfully it helped me be rational and see things from his side and understand what he went through to raise me and my other siblings by himself. I matured with the franchise, and luckily it's more than a game; it's life and a story of life that slowly reflects the way we handle a parent's death as a son and father, and being ready.

when I played 2018 and then finished ragnorok it really made me relize how close the bond between kratos and atreus was me and my dad. especially since my dad is ex military and hates useless wars
