Where can I find a trailer towing specialist? Goosenecks, payload, and pin weight have me so confused. I see f150 and Chevy 1500 carrying huge RV trailers but suggestions vary greatly with livestock trailers.

I towed a steel 2 horse slant with my Tahoe. No problems. My Tahoe does have a towing package. The towing abilities will also depend the terrain as well.

Hi Michelle nice to meet you. The 800 lb number is the tongue weight rating of the hitch that's bolted underneath to the chassis. I should probably clarify to look at three numbers (which would include the hitch). Some of the newer vehicles I think may go as high as 1250 lbs depending on how it's equipped.
