As a native Balmunger, all the unwanted tells i get are from travelers/wanderers. Most native Mungers are either set in their rp with specific partners and groups, or they're like me and don't rp and are just there for the social aspect. It's the people not from Crystal that are the weird ones imo

I'm just gonna say this Wear armor. I've been on Faerie, a World with a lot of weirdos, and ain't anyone ever been weird to me. Armor has consistently been the one thing that keeps people away from me. My other friends who wear clothes and such? yeah they get a lot of random weird tells. Not me tho lmao

so crystal itself isn't inherently bad, I spent years on Balmung before moving off it. you just have to be aware that certain places, like the Quicksands, become similar to Goldshire in the old WoW days. it's like living in a major city, you learn what places to avoid quickly. Balmung, unfortunately, has the reputation of the "ERP server" but 90% of the gross tells and messages I got were from people visiting the server.

specifically balmung in crystal... crystal is the role-play data center and can get pretty wild everywhere... super fun to visit to see all the events though!

iirc its balmung. Crystal has more rp than aether or primal (idk much about dynamis), but its pretty chill overall... except that one

it's worst on balmung but honestly, any Limsa aetherite after dark will have people being weird and gross. even in /say or /shout chat 🤮

yup, the comments are right, ages ago we booted those to their own data center(crystal). balmung is globally infamous for...red light themes. though they do have great PG artwork.
