His whole aesthetic was “embrace the norm” which was him showing his “regular” guy lifestyle. To give it up & be an influencer. I think if he slowly transitioned his content properly people would have embraced it. But it was so sudden. Like the beauty influencers they now do lifestyle content & it works.

truth is, his reality isn't our reality. while i'm not 100% race based with all my perspectives, his experience, network and privilege will allow for a smoother pivot back into the corporate world. i see both ends, and that's probably how he is viewing it. all else fails, he'll just "go back" to work.
