honestly at first it is hard because the thought that a family was built and now you share your kids with strangers in your ex life is difficult but man the growth and the healthy version of yourself and how you show up for you kids vs a toxic environment is worth the loneliness in the beginning stage that's healing 😍

I leave the toys alone for a while after dropping them off with their mom so the house won’t feel as empty. But eventually I put them away after a day or two 😭 Wish they would live with me everyday

i don't like doing my kids laundry when their not around, or go do stuff without them that makes me feel guilty, Makes me Sad and Mad remembering The memories we just Made or and Pics+Videos, I leave Puzzles Toys where they left them or try

When you have your first disagreement with them as they turn adults and they leave the house and you loose all contact with them for the first time in their entire life….all those core memories out the window over something so petty 😞
