boy my mortgage cheaper than any of my renting friends or those in my neighborhood. plus I have equity. I have to live anyway so paying less while earning equity is win win

How much is your rent? In 2025 it’s extremely rare to be “saving” a bunch of money monthly vs a mortgage with the exact same square footage.

I 100% disagree I purchased my first place when I was still a working class earner. it's been all uphill from there. had I not did that I would still be poor.

I completely agree with this. You need a good consistent cash flow because the upkeep and mortgage payments can get expensive. Very smart guy💯

You are definitely speaking something that we all need to hear. I should have waited when I was younger but as you know that if you don’t know you do what you think is best to buy because you have children especially once the first year property taxes are reassessed on a brand new home. Now I am positioning myself to do other things with my money to bring me in more money.

straight nonsense 😂 rent payment is not that far from from mortgage. you not saving much if anything by renting. the appreciation itself should wipe out any difference in rent and repairs. ex. I bought a house for 300k sold for 400k damn sure didn't do 100k in repairs only a furnace for 3k. only way what he says makes sense is if there is no rent and you are living rent free. plus you are paying for repairs, taxes, and insurance in the rent payment just for someone else 😂
