They should definitely tell you this. My first surgery I went into depression for like a month. It didn’t help that I was out of state and alone. Today I’m on day 6. I won’t look in the mirror until day 10 😂

It's the feeling of defeat that leads to anger with myself because I opted to do this to my body. Then comes the tears and feeling of guilt and sadness. I'm at day 6 post op, I'm looking forward to the end of this emotional roller coaster 🤞

Day 6 I had a complete meltdown cry. I wasn’t sure what I was feeling but I sobbed for a good 30min. It was completely overwhelming. Then I calmed down and felt better.

I felt this 3 weeks post op I cried bc my hubs went to work he was the best nurse. Me knowing that he has to go back to work just as usual. 🥺
