>pay 200-800 dollars for ticket >not be allowed to keep photo or video memories of it yeah I understand Tobias not wanting people in the pit to be on their phones 24/7 but the amount of hype died down when this rule came upon the fan base. people in say, south Africa, will NEVER get to see a show or have a physical movie shipped to them. fan videos are what help prop up the community.

the tickets were $80.. i’ve been in the fandom since like 2021, people getting upset about the new rule is BEYOND ME. i don’t wanna see a sea of phones when i go to a concert either, it was so much more enjoyable without them and people actually TALKED TO EACHOTHER

The rule killed my interest in the band. The band (not the ghouls, since they have no say over administrative stuff) has turned greedy and uncaring of their fans. To me. I'm seeing one concert and then I'm sticking to the ghost that exists with me and my friends.

i’m lowkey slowly losing interest in ghost cuz of the phone ban, there’s no new silly clips. i feel like those of us who can’t go to the rituals are like really excluded from it and i’ve been in the fandom since 2022

Guys I promise the no phones thing is not that bad. I’ve gone to two rituals now and last night was leagues better than a couple years ago. Your focus isn’t on making sure everything is in frame and that you record the right moment, you’re 100% focused on the show and it’s refreshing

As someone who never been to a ritual with the phones allowed (i went to the one in amsterdam!!) its really not that bad. It was amazing, even if i was not in the pit i still enjoyed every part of it, i talked to fans my age and not having my phone made me feel more less anxious? In the end of yhe day, are a couple probably low quality pictures really worth killing the crowds energy? I understand that it may be not fair to ghe people who cant go to these concerts, but its not like they will get ZERO stuff from the rituals, theres still official pictures, the ghoulbangers, again, maybe there will be a second rhrn type movie about this tour, who knows. In the end of the day theres nothing we can really do, tobias, the team behind ghost (idk how the band works im sorry) is in charge of stuff. Some of the things even tobias cant control. Again i understand its frustrating, but its not the end of the world

personally I loved the no phone rule. because it's simple. and honestly do we even always watch the videos we've taken in the past? after awhile..no. the group next to me was SO INTO the show. and that doesn't happen as much with our phones constantly recording. I liked the idea for sure.

I was an OG ghost fan, and the phone rule kinda ruined it for me. The tickets got way more expensive when TikTok blew them up more and to then have a ‘rule’ about phones with that price rubs me the wrong way, as well as so little clips of the concert causing waining interest. I still have my videos of the 2018 concert that I took to show my disabled dad. Unless the price went down, I’d simply just never go again.
