This debate between tubes and omnipod feels a lot like Xbox vs PlayStation! Every one has their preferences and the pumps have their strengths and weaknesses this should not be a debate !!! We should be encouraging people to use what works best for them! I personally have both Tandem and omnipod as backups so I am very uniquely qualified to speak on this.

I liked Omnipod, but my biggest problem with Omnipod is that is is considered prescription rather than durable equipment. It is unaffordable for some of us. I personally have much better numbers with Tandem.

i just started on omnipod yesterday after 20 years of being diabetic. Very excited ! I just wish the app would be available, for now I need to carry an extra phone

Using omnipod/dexcom for 7 yrs , Medtronic before (3years) I love my omnipod. I literally have so much more control and honestly makes things so much easier to manage. I don’t feel as restricted. Personally.

i used omnipod for 1-1 1/2 year and was sick of it. it wouldnt stay on my body even with spray adhesive and so on.. so its worth trying both systems 👍🏻

Does your pod not lose connection with your libre being on the opposite arm? I have to have both on the same arm or it doesn’t get readings?

For me, omnipod is great but for environmental reasons, i choose tslim. omnipod is too much waste.

Omnipod5 is good and easy but sometimes my current basal program 2U/hr 12am-12am and my glucose level is under 70 and release some unit insulin specially nighttime and I change nasal program for night

i don't know how can I obtain omnipod. In Spain the doctors gave me Medtronic 780. I'm very hippy with it but i would prefer yours ☺️

I’m the same. Omnipod 5 lets me live so much more freely. I think about my sugar levels so much less. I don’t constantly think about it and check it. Just let the pod do its thing
