The sunk cost fallacy is huge in these “relationships”. We want so badly to feel like all the abuse and hardship we put ourselves through had an end goal. It hurts so much to think that this person gave you all this trauma for nothing. That’s what truly stopped me from leaving.

What if when my friend talks about things that happen in her relationship that are bad to me and my our other friends and her boyfriend gets mad because he doesn’t want “his business” out there? Like she does talk about these things with me and our friends what can I do to like help her..??? Idk if that’s the right word
