@mrcharliebird: So many of you have been asking to see the final version of the gender reveal cake, but I wanted to wait until Sarah and Derik had a chance to share their content first! This was SUCH a fun one to make. I prepped the base ahead of time, and then at the party, everyone added their guess—pink or blue—using little balloon toppers. After all the votes were in, I added a few gold ones and rearranged them to give the cake a more finished look. I’m really happy with how it turned out—and thankfully, it got good reviews on taste too. ANNNDDD… (drumroll but not really bc you already know) I’m so excited that they’re adding another baby girl to the family! That makes four new nieces for me and Ryan this year, and we seriously can’t wait!
