Actual daycare centers do not offer a bunch of alternative food options. They typically feed all the kids the same meal/ snack. So it makes perfect sense for an In home daycare to do the same.

my kid doesnt like spaghetti (with meat and sauce) but will eat lasagna . I dont really understand why .. and maybe she doesn't really like lasagna either. but is just hungry those days and actually willing to eat it.. she usually doesnt get much beside the noodles

Only one of mine liked salad the 1st time I served it. Now all 6 eat all their salad and usually ask for seconds.

BTW it's a burger& fries it's not a crazy meal like bratwurst and slaw. the kids will survive

With the kids i babysat when I first started watching them they hated salad and wouldn't touch it they would literally start gagging 🤣. 2 months ago I made a salad with whatever was in the fridge they all took at least one bite. It took a almost a year but they actually at tired it and didn't hate it in the end

We started calling sweet potatoe fries Blippi fries since they are orange. Now they are a fav at our in home. 😋

I used to HATE green beans but my aunt somehow got me to eat them. I don't really eat them by themselves but for some weird reason, I LOVE green bean casserole

I def cater to what my kids eat. I wouldn’t be mad at this. I finally started making my kids eat at school and they definitely eat alot more things now.

growing up i HATED burgers! after many years of exposure i finally came around. i have arfid and was a pica kid so the burger just didn’t satisfy and made my sensory issues worse
