Suddenly it’s not you evolving…it’s you being “too good now.”They don’t factor in your trauma. They don’t remember your pain.They ignore the inner child in you who was touched, ignored, bullied, and abandoned. They skip the part where you healed, cried, forgave, and rebuilt your damn self from scratch. They don’t know the hell you had to survive to feel this free. So no, my attitude/ confidence ain’t because of my weight loss.It’s because I finally got the strength to say: “I’m not shrinking anymore, not for your comfort, your convenience, or your projection.” Yes I have loose skin! It’s part of my success! Meanwhile you’re in the bed watching me 🥹 I’m not turning my back on people. I’m turning my face toward God, toward joy, toward me.Maybe I’m distant because I’m protecting my peace.Maybe I’m glowing because I’m proud of myself. Maybe I’m not as available because I’m finally showing up for the little girl inside me who needed me the most. So to blame everything and my character and saying the influence is my weightloss is dense. The realest flex isn’t the weight loss. It’s the peace, the clarity, and the standards.
