I will do an IV, a shot, a blood draw, no problem, I'll even look at the needle, but the moment someone comes at me with the finger stick I damn near faint, I have no clue why🤣

I feel like I’m crazy because I cannot do shots at all. They absolutely terrify me and they hurt so bad but I can do an IV all day every day.

My oldest has a fear of needles so I have him hold my hands super tight and tell me all about his day at school, look me in my face, or why he dreams of being a doctor then boom we get done with 2 before he freaks out. I then have him tell me (usually when there is more) what he wants for a reward/treat (99.8% of the time it's McDonald's) and he enjoys it. His little brother on the other hand? Takes them like a champ no holding him down and screams for like 45 seconds 😂😂
