I’m a sad beige mom but when it comes to a backpack and school supplies I want my 5 yo to have what makes him happy. He look fly carrying whatever character backpack he chooses. I put myself back in the shoes of a kid who never got to do that cuz we got our school supplies assisted because we were poor.

It’s not fugly. What’s fugly is jealousy and sometimes it’s just easier for people to be rude instead of confronting their issue with people being more successful and being able to buy the $100 backpack…I’d buy it because my child would be over joyed! Even if I couldn’t afford it 😂✌🏼💕

But here’s the problem mom. Your kid will not want to use the same backpack year after year! And unfortunately backpacks get a lot of abuse so they don’t resell for very much
