while I would have said YYH over HxH, your reasoning makes sense, and both are from the same author. I feel story elements were more taken from YYH, and power systems were taken from HxH.

I agree with it all tbh except I think aot is third now hear me out I think it's influential in a different way I think cause it was so successful and how it's been watched by people who don't even watch anime I think it's influenced how animes are done to try and increase the popularity with western audiences

100% agree on Bleach: most influential of the Big Three, but my least favorite. Kubo spearheaded a subgenre of a zillion supernatural shonen. The issue is that, just going by the infinite monkey theorem, someone will write something just as good as Bleach, if not better.

Dragon Ball Z, One Piece, and Death Note. Hear Me Out. There is NO arguing that DBZ is the introduction to anime for a massive amount of the fanbase. And its acceptance by athletes and mainstream performers like Micheal B. Jordan are part of what has allowed the anime fandom to go mainstream resulting in things like Dodgers and Gucci collabs. Death Note is the original Gateway Drug of anime. It is everyones first taste of harder stuff, it is the nearly universally accepted "First Adult Anime". And then there's One Piece which arguably is only second on global popularity to Pokemon.
