@thewildapothecary: Of course it does, the bubbles just make it more fun 🧼 Foaming Hand Soap Recipe ½ cup Castille Soap 1 ½ cups Distilled Water 1 tbs Carrier Oil (liquid coconut oil, almond oil, sunflower oil, or apricot oil) 28 drops Lemon Essential Oil 28 drops Lavender Essential Oil The foaming pump jar is optional, I just think it’s more fun when the soap comes out foamy and it doesn’t clog the pump as easily as a regular soap jar. I’ll put the link for it, in the comments 🧼 ~Combine all the ingredients into the foaming soap jar or regular soap bottle and shake or stir to combine. Use within a month. ~The lemon and lavender essential oil are also optional or you could replace it with another skin friendly essential oils. Enjoy! #diyskincare #herbalskincare #wellness #nontoxicliving #fyp #DIY

You don’t need oil. I made mine with Castile soap, water and essential oil. No need to waste oil and make things slick and greasy.

I just use Castile soap and water in a foaming dispenser. That’s it. I eyeball the measurements and it comes out great every time. I use unscented but essential oil is definitely an option.

So do you buy the bar Castile soap & grate it & cook it down into a liquid? then add the other stuff? cuz I've never seen liquid Castile soap. just curious. I live in a small Idaho town so not a whole lot of options. thanks waiting for your reply 😃

Ive been making this soap for my son for a few years now. His skin is easily irritated by store bought soaps. This has been a saving grace. The foaming soap dispenser is a must!! 😌

Does castille soap dry your hands out? I’ve heard it does and my hands are already dry so I’m hesitant to try it.
