Red rock is owned by the Fertitta family or a majority stake anyway (IPO). I played with a former youtuber who plays there a lot and he explained it for me (if you know you know, not going to name drop). Now the Fertitta brothers don’t care if Dana plays the tables and is know as an advantage player (anyone who card counts is classified as an advantage player). But the advantage aint that great and this min to max spread ain’t like your average table of $25-$500 so you have to bet more and put more on the table to continue playing. Yes you have an edge counting and using basic strategy but with the amount your playing per hand to your bank roll and like sitting down with $100,000 and playing $25-$500 hands. Ain’t going to get you anywhere. Now that dana is allowed to play also he doesn’t always win. So they are pretty much trading money back and forth, and when Dana does win more (it will happen since he has a better odds winning) He also brings in influencers that they give private rooms to gamble in and so they feel like they gotta gamble more and what not! That’s why he only gambles with (friends money) to get them out of the hole. Not make them more. He’s apart of the system. Don’t forget he’s also banned from every other property in Vegas for card counting! If he’s not helping the Fertittas they why would they let him win more then he loses?
