I absolutely fell asleep like twice in my year of teaching a class of 2s. One time the owner!!!!!came in and thank GOD my back was to the door. I was in light enough sleep that I woke up and flipped over SO fast. We weren’t allowed to read, be on our phones, doodle, headphones, nothin’. We were just supposed to exist in that environment for an hour while I was working two jobs lol. It was SO HARD

at my daycare we were allowed to nap. but if you show that you’re a heavy sleeper or don’t wake up immediately for the kids, you weren’t allowed to anymore.

I use to have a little boy that had to have me lay on his cot with him during nap time or he wouldn’t lay down and thank goodness my co-teacher was in there because I was fighting for my life to stay awake 😂

They had to take the rocking chairs out of a baby room I worked in because the old ladies would nod off 😅 It's SO HARD not to! Lights are low, Enya is playing, especially if you're rocking a baby yourself and they're warm and sleepy? Nap time for all.

I never really understood the concept of napping when I was younger so I would always be messing around and bothering people 😭😭 I wish my parents had educated me better 😭

If you’re allowed to wear headphones, I’d have a silent disco and try to have the music loud enough that I wouldn’t be able to sleep through it but obviously not loud enough to wake the bbs

The room at my facility was only big enough for one camera and the corner I sat in for nap was right under the camera so it couldn’t see me. I can’t tell you how many times I nodded off sitting there but I can 100% say those babies were always taken care of regardless of my mini naps🤣😭
