The fact that when we were little every fast food place almost had that as an option so you could do that and a cheap kids meal to spend a day makes me so sad that kids now don’t get that

Recreations Outlet they build playsets but you can buy a pass to play in their showroom of like 100 playsets for about $100/year for the whole family.

i would like to also add to the conversation that we can drastically cool down outdoor parks with strategic material and shade tree choices as well so we can still reduce our emissions and not waste those resources (totally get where you’re coming from though, i’m not trying to be that guy)

It would be cool if it was like.. an open air arena set up, but for the park. Like a retractable roof, so that on cooler days, they could still feel like its outside, and on hot days, they cover the playground.

I live in the PNW and we have lots of indoor parks. They are more like play places slides, pretend play, and climbing structures.

have you checked for indoor play cafes or "soft play" places in your area? they're not everywhere but they ARE a thing!
