not to mention if Ani had Qui-Gon, Palpatine wouldn't have been able to step in as his father figure meaning the decade of grooming never happens either and Qui-Gon might not have figured out Palps true identity but he would have been wary of him from the start and would have kept Ani away basically guaranteeing there's never a Vader

Qui Gon was also one of the very few people Sidious feared. No way he wouldn’t have smelled the Sith all over him. Even if he couldn’t bring him down, he’d have kept Anakin more than 12 parsecs away from him!

Qui Gon probably would’ve saved dooku if we’re being honest. He would’ve felt palpatine’s dark influence approach to anikan and probably been the one voice of reason telling him to stay put.

qui gon HAD to die in order for balance to come to the force. if Anakin was too strong in his Jedi ideals then he doesn't get close to palps, if he doesn't get close to Palpatine he doesn't stand by Palps side when he reveals himself as the sith so he probably never comes out as the sith lord, if he doesn't come out as the sith lord and if Anakin doesn't duel obi wan then there is no Vader to throw Palpatine down in the death star

Qui-gon was likely the most faithful Jedi to their order prior to the order’s fall. Even Yoda’s ability to listen to the will of the force had begun to falter at this point. He was their best, so naturally he had to fall before they could truly collapse.

Erm, sorry to reign on your parade but Anikin was groomed from a young age by a Sith lord with fucky sith magic. And the Jedi council served him up with a silver platter. Jinn is also problematic . The only one of his padawans that became a master seriously contemplated leaving twice as a result of his A+ parenting

If Anakin was trained by Qui-Gonn Anakin would’ve left the order to be with Padme (or discover himself like he nearly did in the comics) and without the help of arguably the strongest and most successful Jedi the republic likely would’ve lost to the Separatists.

qui gon was a bad character to me, he was never mentioned in the original trilogy, and at some point in empire strikes back obi wan says Yoda should be able to train luke despite being impatient, as obi wan was when YODA trained him.
