you know I’m no expert but youre so valid for this girl that’s one of the things that makes me terrified to get married. Are you guys doing the traditional route of not seeing eachother till youre walking the aisle? Cuz if not I’ve seen people read their own personal vows to each other beforehand for a more personal moment and maybe that would help make you feel better and remind you the real reason for the day? A heartfelt moment to make you feel less scared and more excited would be helpful to me I think

We chose to read our personal vows alone during our first look & stuck to repeat-after-me-style vows for the actual ceremony (customized to fit our story). It was a HUGE anxiety relief and we got the sweetest pictures off by ourselves with our little vow books 🥰

My weddings a year away and I feel some of this so much!! I think as of now we have decided to do a more private personal vow reading just us and then in front of guests at the ceremony just doing the more traditional vows!!

I am the same way. My advice is to do personal vows before the wedding ceremony. I would be to nervous to be taking it all in in front of everyone

What we are going to do because I have the same problem I hate speaking in front of people so we are gonna do a first touch with our personal vowels and then it is much shorter version infront of everyone!!

I’ll chat with you more tomorrow when I see you- but let me tell you… tunnel vision is REAL when you walk down that aisle. You’ll lock eyes onto Brandon and blackout literally everything else- the sounds, the guests, the weather, etc. It’s the most beautiful feeling seeing your almost-spouse waiting emotionally for you 🥹 I popped a beta blocker before walking down the aisle and still broke out in full body anxiety hives (that’s my fun anxiety thing yaaaaay). But you know what? Photographers can edit that shiiiiit 😉 My vail also fell off mid-walk, but looking back it was OUR wedding and it happened how it happened. And for that, I’ll forever cherish the memories 💕 Can’t wait for your big day 🩷 Love your transparency!!
