oh I didn't,I know I take care of my residents,I don't cut corners,I stay later if I have to to finish my stuff. I work with one who has reading issues and I even have to do all her incident reports,and I told my DON this looks like these are all MY falls,cuz it's all under my name and signature,I don't like that. we have to have someone cover our shifts,we cannot call in,I cry dude,I about my lose my shit when I do rounds and their rooms are a little messy,beds unmade and whatnot,I can see they are sitting in a full pull tab,when I call out those people not doing their daily cares,I'm the bad guy,but they all fight to work w me,cuz they know I'm not ever sitting down,I'm moving the entire shift,I don't mind bathing them,I will do everything so I know they are taken care of right. our DON refuses to come in to actually work the floor,she will come pick us up and take us to work if she has to. it's wild,but I love my residents,I buy them gifts,I listen to them,I comfort them. id live there w them if I could. I tell the families the truth about everything that goes on. I care more about them that the job itself in the end. I do have my own 13 year old and I'm a single mom who is widowed,but I know I do what is right.
