I’m an EMT doing the same thing. It’s not bad at all to wake up and feed baby! Just breastfeed through the night. I know you want to get a routine but baby’s saliva helps get your supply regulated.

It depends on your supply and if you can really let down while pumping. I would recommend breastfeeding as much as possible until your supply is established

The first few weeks are hard as your milk supply is getting established. It was much easier to BF during the night and in the day I pumped after feeds to keep my milk supply up. I had hubby do bottle feeds during the day as it was much easier vs night. We did bottles when we got home from hospital after baby had proper latch. Introducing bottles early helped us out a lot especially when family came to help.
