a lot of times parents are denied bringing character witnesses. bringing people that know them and the child. a lot of times it's CPS who controls the hearing. parents aren't allowed to enter evidence and their attorneys sit there and do nothing their court appointed public pretenders. where is my public pretender whenever I was in the system. that's a good question.
