I truly think Naruto deserves the hype. I haven’t seen a shounen that comes close. There's Twelve Kingdoms but the anime is unfinished. But I am also unsure if it's a shounen. But Twelve Kingdoms is amazing and not as well-known.

I would always give 3 options they can choose from: Berserk, FMAB, Death note. They all very very good, unic and very easy to digest for somebody who unfamiliar with anime and it’s specifics.

I will never recommend one piece I recommend fullmetal alchemist brotherhood akame ga kill naruto mha and solo leveling for a good starter it’s not crazy it’s not complex well not yet it starts good and isn’t crazy to understand it can definitely draw the person in them it grows later on of course but point is great way to start

yalls I've watched one piece all the way is it good yes, is it's pacing annoying yes, and is that why besides length it's is the #1 worse choice for a first anime yes, that was a bad answer thats how you never get someone to ever start again, as far naruto I have actually tried to find something better I've watched all the best/Highest rated and most viewed of all time and I haven't been able to find anything better and I actually want to cause I love to know what could be better cause it was so good and if somethings better i want to see it with open mind, the only 2 best I haven't watched are, full metal alchemist brotherhood and frieren at Journey's End, no point in bleach besides a fun watch, it's allready been made quite clear it's the worse of the big 3 but still probably amazing, but naah someone please drop what you think is the best anime to you but only if you watched naruto, cause then I can know there must be great reason why you like it more
