Def wear gloves! Label the bins. Get magic erasers (buy bulk- so much cheaper this way). Once you deep clean an area/room, go back to it once a week to spot clean/maintenance clean. Shaving cream lifts smells off of bathroom floor. It looks amazing!! Way to go!!

The best advice I can give you is to clean one room at a time, then divide that room into zones and clean them one by one. I also advise you to throw away as much as possible and try to get your mother and your family to go to hoarding therapy. If you don't, the problem will persist.

you could try getting a window insulation kit (the kind that comes with a plastic that you seal around the window) I have a bad window that I put that on last winter, and I've kept it there. I've noticed a HUGE difference in that room. my window isn't cracked though, but maybe it would still work until your window is able to be fixed.

I clean out and reorganize the medical closet right before my FSA ends. Use those remaining funds to replace expired items and restock.

My mom is retired but she has always held onto stuff. I found tampons from the late 90’s. We made her throw them away. I’m scared to ever have to go through stuff.
