You got this! As an RT, I found early motherhood very challenging but having a medical background is such a help. Problem solving skills are so handy! In the end, it will make you an even better physician.

My daughter in law is a NICU nurse, Her OB had to tell her what she sees in the NICU is not normal. Her anxiety was off the charts

I know a nicu nurse who never had children due to this fear. She had seen the worst working at sick kids and what it did to families and older siblings. 😔

I had my first as a R1 in FM and had all my OBS, FMOB and parent child (including lots of breastfeeding clinics) rotations before mat leave and honestly felt pretty confident knowledge wise when I became a mother
