I have only ever been to one place that would know my “my usual” and as a barista for over 5 years I have never felt more seen or honored I would never be as entitled to assume that everyone knew my order just bc that one person who pull a lot of shifts knows ur order doesn’t mean that they have a laminated pic of u in the back with ur usual order printed under it like a preferance sheet on below deck

When this one lady comes through our drive through “hi Starbucks friends it’s Janet I’m here for my usual” and the one time we had someone new on dto and she was like “uh idk what that is” and she got so mad that she had to tell us her order 😭

nah,, only nice regulars get special treatment. even if they're in every day getting drip coffee,, I don't give them "regular" service unless they make MY DAY better.
