Not many people realize they may be living with a low-positioned hyoid bone - a small, floating bone inside your throat that plays a major role in jawline contour, tongue posture, and neck tension. (which means it does affect the way your face looks) You can feel your hyoid when you swallow - it should move upward. But when it’s chronically pulled down, it can contribute to: ❌ Undefined Jawline ❌ Double Chin ❌ Neck Sagging This can happen due to weakness in the tongue and under-jaw muscles, especially if the tongue isn’t resting on the upper palate. But it’s not just about what’s happening above - the hyoid is also connected to deeper structures, like: - Muscles pulling from the shoulders and chest - Fascial connections into the organs in your chest - Fascial pathways that respond to posture and breath If your shoulders are constantly tense or lifted, they may be pulling down your hyoid and with it - your neck, jaw and overall facial tone. Let me know if techniques like this are helpful - it only takes a few minutes a day, but it can completely change the way your neck feels (and looks) 🫶 P.S.: I get a lot of questions about my program. Here is how it works: It's a 30-Day Face Transformation Program where we all start together, at the same time. You get incredible support and amazing techniques so you can transform your face in 30 days. Once a group has started, enrollment is closed - so you can't join. You can just get on the Waitlist to get notified once enrollment opens again. Spots are limited, so don't miss out!
