I’ve been living inside a body in pain, trying to hold together a family with tape and prayer, dancing between despair and devotion. And yet—I showed up. Last night, I was all the way in, back by Northgate, one hand gripping my walker and the other flailing in the air, moving my body as much as it would let me. I danced. I healed. I remembered. The setlist wasn’t what I would’ve picked, but it cracked me open. It gave me exactly what I needed. It reminded me that healing sometimes looks like showing up anyway.
