Yasir Qadhi never said hadiths are fake🤦🏻♂️he said they are verified through an Islamic method that does not match modern secular academic methods. But this method is historically rigorous and developed by generations of scholars to preserve the Prophet’s words. The existence of forged hadith is precisely why we have Sahih collections and daif or mawdu categories - proof that the system works not that it’s fake👍🏼

I am so happy so many Muslims go back to the teachings of the Quran only. That’s the Hadith that Allah let for us and the prophet was practicing. And the best of it is they are teaching their children to stick to that. The truth reveals to us when we are ready to understand it. 🥰🥰🥰

The historical critical method relies heavily on a perfect set of past events where everything is perfectly preserved and therefore “proven”. It sets an impossible standard and ends up giving a false picture. In the end nothing is true if we apply it to everything and we end up losing history which has been preserved in not so perfect ways such as stories, etc it reflects the viewpoint and approach of the atheist so naturally designed to fail. If he says it approves the Quran it’s because there are old manuscripts available it doesn’t mean it proves the Quran is the speech of Allah. So to rely on it alone doesn’t lead to imaan so why weaken your iman thinking this method proves anything at all. In short nothing in the past is proven by the method at all because there isn’t a perfect preservation of history.

Den som använder hjärnan borde förstå detta, jätteenkelt. Sunnihadither skrevs minst 250 år efter Muhammads död och ännu värre är shiahadither som skrevs 300+ år efter. De skrevs av personer som bland annat bodde i Baghdad och Uzbekistan som aldrig ens träffat Muhammad, ahlul bayt eller sahabas. Hadither är fake.
