The cherry layer is like a homemade cherry pie filling and the buttery cobbler biscuits are light and fluffy on the inside with a slight crunch on the outside. Comment “CHERRY” & I’ll send you the link for the recipe & juice. #Recipe below Filling 4 cups cherries, sliced in half 1 cup Antioxidant Solutions Triple Cherry Juice Pinch of salt 1/2 cup sugar 2 tbsp cornstarch + ¼ cup water for slurry Cobbler Topping 1 ½ cups 1.1 GF flour ½ tsp kosher salt ½ tsp ground cinnamon 1 tsp vanilla extract ½ cup sugar 8 tbsp butter, cold 1 tbsp baking powder ¾ cup buttermilk Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Spray a 7x10x2” deep baking dish with nonstick baking spray. Place a large pot over medium heat. Add the cherries, cherry juice, salt and sugar. Mix well. In a small bowl add the cornstarch and water, mix well for the slurry. Once the mixture is heated, little bubbles will form around the edges of the pan pour in the slurry. Mix well. Set aside. In a large mixing bowl add the flour, salt, cinnamon, sugar and baking powder. Mix well. Add the butter and using a fork or pastry cutter cut in the butter until pea sized crumble form. Add in the liquids and mix with a spoon trying to keep those butter pockets. Pour the cherry filling into the baking dish. Using an ice cream scoop, scoop equal size cobbler topping on top.
