As a disabled person, I’ve noticed that a lot of our vernacular is like this. It’s like using the word “see” while talking to a blind person. It’s not intentionally excessive most times, it’s just how our lingo has developed. It’s not ableist unless ur using it to belittle or exclude others based solely on that.
