@fultonstrong: The last several years I may have been quiet on social media but I put in some heavy work offline. I’d like to share some of my accomplishments over the last several years working with a particular type of dog. Many of the dogs I can’t put online, but it’s been a hell of a journey- and I love every minute of it. I can’t wait to see what the next 10 years bring. ALL of these services are still available! As always! 10 years of K9 Training: 🐺PSD (police service dog) contracts for handler aggression rehabilitation- successful turn around for 8 teams, including 3 teams who made it to nationals. 🐺LE K9 Department contract for written materials that were distributed to all K9 handler teams for a 6-8 week mandatory bonding program before the teams became operational to prevent handler aggression. 🐺Contracts for MSD (Mass Storage Device, EDD/Electronic Device Detection for human trafficking cases- in DC, and CA. 🐺Completed Missing Persons Cases with Fulton, 3 tracks in total. Two of which ended with Fulton guiding afternoon dogs toward specific area that ended in finding the person. 1 found by Fulton himself. 🐺Development of SOP for large scale working dog facilities 🐺PhD Candidate (finished all course work besides my dissertation) in ABA specialization in Hollandse Herder Handler Behavior & Bond, 🐺PPD (Protection Dog) development work. 🐺Taught virtual and in person Workshops for LE K9 Departments yearly for Understanding Drive & Possession - use of correction tools and acknowledgment of decreasing the use of dominant theory to build stronger dogs and develop deeper relationships with their canine partner. 🐶 ….and of course House Pet Obedience. 🤌🏻 #femalek9handler #womenownedbusiness #dutchdogs #k9trainer
I have a pitbull/ Great Pyrenees mix and she’s about 115lbs. She is super obedient and well trained in doors with me but the second we get outside all confidence vanishes and she becomes highly insecure. And she is INCREDIBLY reactive with strangers. She has learned over time the scarier she looks the less chance she has to meet someone new and I do not know how to break that. I’m desperate on tips and willing to drive to you depending on where you’re at if you’d ever be willing to work 1:1 with me and her? I gotta get this under control. Because although she isn’t agressive (been evaluated at the vet) and has never tried to bite at him or anything when getting shots she just freezes and submits but it’s be irreparable and naive of me to think she’ll never bite if backed into a corner enough any dog can, so I’m trying to get this straightened out now as she has no bites on record or anything. She’ll be 3 in November Andes no problem letting you know when to stop walking her way
