A committee may not be good for everything. But I was in a church where the pastor and his family pretty much ran the church. So we would give our money, and they would spend it to how they saw fit. And there were no checks and balances. We even went a year with just one budget sheet. We were suppose to have one monthly.

Could you tell me why a person wanting to join a church has to hand in paperwork from their prior church saying it’s ok with them to leave and join the new one?? Aren’t churches suppose to be welcoming to all? Why do wanna be members need to have permission???
