i don’t think people realize you’re not usually allowed to take money after you input the total into the register because it’s a loss prevention policy. all my jobs i’ve worked have said that

ik i give them a dollar back but for me it’s the fact that i already put the $20 into the drawer so if i give them the dollar back it will show in the stats that the drawer is off, so i just refuse the coin and give them their $.50 anyways

y'all never counted tills at the end of the night and it shows. Y'all have normal float amounts that needs to be prepped for each drawer at commencement but this never matches ending cash amounts at night. As long as the product is paid for and ur cash float is replenished to minimum with the cash bags ) satchels this is not an issue just do the math.

Yall aren't getting it, in half of these systems now you HAVE to type in the amount they give you and if they change it upu have to cancel the transaction and go back to change the amount they gave or else the till will think you're under when you give them the dollar 😐 so no...you can't just give them the dollar
