No matter how long you’ve been a fan of them you will never know them even if you meet them once, you are most likely never going to have an ongoing relationship with them. I hate when people use the argument “well I’ve been a fan since day one” because they’re acting like they know their entire life story, their struggles, their opinions. Like sorry to break it to you but you don’t 🙂

It's because I've been emotionally attatched to them since i was a sad, lonely teenager, and they provided an escape from my home life. It's not an excuse, just my personal reasoning. Ive realized though that its taken a toll on my personal life, in that id rather live vicariously through them, than have my own experiences. Im trying to distance myself from them, but honestly i barely remember who i was before being a "stan" of this person.

I generally think it could depend on what scandal they're getting cancelled over for, but the fact some could still be loyal to their celebrity even after been proved how problematic they are is quite questionable more then generally being loyal to them...
