Did you know the safest for your children is rearfacing?? The highest RF limit on the US market is 50lbs / 49inchs. (If your children maxed out their lower limit seat, aka 40lbs/40inchs, and they are under 4yrs old, please buy a HIGHER limit seat and remain rearfacing until max! * My son is 4yrs old ; 38lbs - 41.5inches long. Long legs do not matter, they don’t cause injuries to the body in an accident. He would be at huge huge risks of internal decapitation resulting in catastrophic injuries if he was forward facing. By the time they are 6yrs old their spines are ossifed enough to reduce these risks significantly. My son will be remain reafacing tho until he fully maxes 50lbs or 49inches! It’s the safest for him, giving him the greatest chance of surviving a crash if it happens. I don’t want and will not gamble his life by forward facing him too early! I love my son alive and will not risk his life. Period. This trend on here has shown so many uneducated caregivers/parents that have either forward faced their children way way too soon, do not have them correctly strapped in, or they simply just do not care to take their children’s lives as priority. *ALL Dorel car seats, maxi cozy, safety first, etc. have a NEW mandatory manual update that they have to remain rearfacing until fully max out limits with 1inch above their head to the top of the seat. *forward facing needs to be TOP TETHERED anchored, straps need to come from slightly above shoulders. *rearfacing straps needs to be below shoulders, shoulder pads on top of the shoulders and CHEST clip on the chest at arm pit level always! Not on the stomach…. *it takes less than 1/4in of stretch flying forward in a crash for their necks to snap (internal decapitation) they can fly up to 6 INCHES or more in a crash. Do the math! That’s a huge huge risk. Please prioritize your children’s lives! Car seat safety is not a parenting choice. #carseatsafety #dontgamblewithsafety #dontgambleyourchildrenlives #cpst #carseatsafetyisnotaparentingchoice #rearfaceyourchildren #dontendageryourchildren #chestclipiscalledachestclipforareason #tightenrhosestraps #dontbeneglectful
