I depends on the kid. I have a senior in highschool who still want me to come to his school and still calls me Mommy and my younger teen is more independent. The key is to take time and enjoy every stage.

We all go through it! It took me till my third kid to be softer and realize I need to make the time…I’m also making up for it with my older kids by spending time with them now and apologizing for stuff when they were kids 🥺

I’m raising my grand F12 and up until a month ago I was her world, her Grammy and now she can’t stand me 😩😅 won’t even hug me and my heart 😮💨❤️🩹. I already did that with her mom, I miss being Grammy tbh 🥲
