thing I love most about firearms is. you tske proper care of them, they will last something next to forever. People right now are going hunting this fall with guns their grandfather or even great grandfather used. I have 2 wwii firearms in my safe right now that are fully functional.

you can run shotguns almost indefinitely. I have a 1910 Remington model 10 and it still works great.

I shoot sporting clays and have 9530 rnds through my citori 725 in a little under 2 years. Still shoots like new

My 500 is from the late 60s and shoots fine, I don’t know many rounds are through it, but the action is so sloppy it’s ridiculous. The inside of the receiver is extremely scored, but it still works fine.

the main thing is keep it clean and oiled and no problems i have a mosberg 600 from the 1960 its made like a tank i put a side sattle on it and a hi viz vector turkey sight and a barrel mounted flash light

had an Ithaca before I knew what I had. been searching for 2 decades for another one. before the disconnectors were installed. got a 40 yr old 870 that gets abused every duck season and it won't quit. cleaned once a yr. superstitious about it

I have a 590 it’s 15 years old I have literally used it as a boat paddle duck hunting i have dropped it off a tree stand honestly they’re pretty indestructible
