I usually find they hold people to way too high of a standard and aren’t willing to forgive. Which is necessary in a long standing friendship because mistakes are inevitable

I think there’s a fine line between having a hard time with friendships and getting dropped by every friend and blaming it on them. People are meant to outgrow each other, that’s okay. But you always have something to learn from it

Nah I think it’s nuanced. Some people have long term friends that they just keep around just cuz. I judge the quality, closeness and type of friends you have, not how long you’ve had them.
