I’m poor & I take my son to ALL the free places! If he’s healthy to go out, we GO OUT! The library, anyone on assistance can get discounts to aquariums, museums, indoor playgrounds, etc. she’s full of it

I’m usually just an observer, but I have to comment on the car situation I can’t stop thinking about it. What have her excuses been for getting the Jetta and getting rid of the van? Like genuinely how can you logically think it’s okay to have a car without enough seats for your whole family to go places together when really none of them are old enough to be left alone🫣

Shit I’m poor I take my three and our $10 diy lunchables to the park library splash pads there’s scholarships for children’s museums and ticket books. I can pull an entire day out my aszzzz for $13 flat. Lunch included. No excuses.

She PMO we make it by with one parent working and I have 3 kids. You bet these kids have been to the pool, the zoo, museums, and the local discovery center. There’s also FREE parks and splash pads.

I’m working now, but when I received EBT they had a program called “museums for all” and it allowed lower income families receiving benefits to attend attractions at a very reduced price. I took full advantage.

1000%. Public transport to parks, library, go for a walk, do anything!! Even buy some cheap chalk and paper & paint to play outside instead of them having to run around in grass and play with rocks 😔

It’s so frustrating to watch her! I have 7 kids! No way my kids are ever gonna think or know we struggle sometimes. My kids are pretty spoiled, they play all the sports, we travel with them, they have their wants and needs…that’s how I want it. They won’t be young forever, there’s time for everything else when they’re grown.
