@escape.video: One of NZ’s best walks has reopened💧💙 Te Waihou / Blue Spring Walkway, South Waikato 🗺️📍 The full 5km Te Waihou / Blue Spring Walkway is finally open again from both Leslie and Whites Road entrances 🙌 Crystal clear waters, lush native bush, and some of the purest spring water in the world, it’s one of NZ’s top must dos 🌿 If you’re short on time, you can head straight to the main viewing platform at the Leslie Road end, there’s a car park and it’s a quick walk in and out 🚗 But if you’ve got time, we highly recommend doing the full track, it’s 100 percent worth it 🥾 Its a two and a half hour drive from Auckland to get here 🚙 #nzmustdo #southwaikato #bluespring #tewaihouwalkway

use to live in putaruru, I remember swimming in the springs and it's closed now for a good reason. We are locals so we know where to swim in the stream, beware of rips and always rescept the wai!
